Micro Worlds

The first photo is where my story begins. It is a beautiful day as a woman walks her dog. The dog has been home for many hours so he is very anxious to relieve himself. The dog comes across a tree. What he doesn't know is that the tree is a city landmark. There is a photographer taking pictures of the tree and when this beautiful woman with her dog comes over, he is immediately drawn to her. He introduces himself and this becomes the start to a wonderful relationship. This photo shows foreground/background. The foreground of the photo is blurry, while the background of the photo is in focus. This technique adds depth to the photo. It also displays the rule of thirds. It doesn't strongly show the rule of thirds, but it is definitely there because the top horizontal two thirds of the photo shows the characters while the bottom third of the photo shows just cement. The line on the wall in the back of the photo shows leading lines, which help make the characters stand out.

This photo takes place after the woman and man have been dating for a while. One day, as the man is walking his girlfriend's dog, he starts thinking about how this dog is coming between them. While the man is talking on the phone with his girlfriend, he does not notice the dog, and trips over him. The man becomes very angry because he believes that the dog tripped him on purpose. The dog apologizes by licking the man's face. The man feels that he and the dog are finally bonding. The man thinks that having a family with the woman and the dog would not be such a bad idea after all. This photo shows foreground/background. The foreground of this photo is in focus while the background of this photo is blurry. The yellow shirt of the man and the orange color of the dog stand out in this photo. 

The third photo shows that the man and the dog are finally getting along. The man, woman, and dog are now one big happy family. This photo shows foreground/background. The foreground of this photo is in focus while the background of this photo is blurry. The yellow shirt of the man, the blue dress of the woman, and the orange color of the dog stand out from all the other colors. 

This photo shows that the dog is off to do his business once again. This photo shows the rule of thirds because the dog is in one third of the photo and the man and woman are in the other two thirds of the photo. The color of the dog and the clothing of the man and woman really make them stand out and draw your eyes to them.
